Drinking Bourbon on a Sunday Morning...

This is me enjoying my bottle of bourbon. Actually, this is the bottle of bourbon that I enjoyed by myself in one of the events I handled last year. No, I wasn't drinking on the job... drinking is part of the job and is an actual benefit of the job.

Anyway, I've drank bourbon long enough that I've learned tips on how to enjoy bourbon. Here are the tips:

1) Get a glass to use.
2) Get your bottle of bourbon.
3) Pour your bourbon and fill 1/4 of your glass.
4) Put some ice in the glass and fill it again with some more bourbon.
5) Chug it!!!!!

I was kidding! LOL!!!

Effects of drinking bourbon so early in the morning!!!!!

You can opt to drink bourbon neat. That is drinking bourbon in room temperature and without ice. You can drink bourbon on the rocks. That's just a fancy way of saying that you'd drink bourbon with ice. Now, the ice will affect the flavor of the bourbon so if you prefer to drink a 'watered down' flavor of bourbon, let me tell you that you're better off drinking mud water. A watered down bourbon is a waste of good bourbon. Period.

Now, bourbon isn't for chugging. Take time to enjoy the bourbon's color, aroma, and of course flavor.

I'm not going to bore you anymore. I'm going to bid you goodbye and go back to enjoying my bourbon.

Ah, this reminds me of the days when I used to drink. I preferred it straight and neat. Right out of the bottle, in fact! lol. Enjoy!

Oh...I've not had bourbon in ages. I think the last time that I drank whisky was in an Irish coffee. I've not had any alcohol since the end of last year. I guzzle expensive wine like two dollar hooch. I had to quit. It was affecting other parts of my life.

Well, I've always handled my alcohol well MelissaE . Good that you are able to quit before things spiraled out of control.
