Jurassic World: Will It Be Better Than Jurassic Park?

In the original Jurassic Park movie released in 1993, the owner of the park invited three specialists to certify that the park was safe.

In the new movie Jurassic World, the park is fully operational and has been very successful. It gets hundreds if not thousands of visitors per day.

Of course, in both movies something goes terribly wrong.

I thought about the new movie and I assume that some people who see it will compare it to the original. When thinking about this, I quickly realize that there is one scene in the old Jurassic Park movie that will be difficult to top. That is the scene wherein the two cars transporting the visitors stop during a power outage and a T Rex comes through the high voltage electrical fence which no longer contains any high voltage. One of the cars has the owners children in it. And that car is attacked by the T Rex. I don't want to spoil it for people who have not seen Jurassic Park so let me just say that this scene is one of the most memorable science fiction scenes in movie making history. How could the new movie possibly top that scene?

I'm not as excited about 'Jurassic World' as I was about 'Jurassic Park.' I read spoilers about Jurassic World and I've saw trailers. I love monster movies but with regard to 'Jurassic World,' I think I'll wait to read and hear the viewer's responses before deciding whether to see this movie or wait for the video.

How about you? Will you go see 'Jurassic World?' Do you think they can top the scene in 'Jurassic Park' that I described above?

I think the effects will have definitely progressed, after all it has been more than 20 years. So, I think it is possible, but I can't say for sure.

I will wait to see more about it and then maybe buy it when it comes out on DVD. I actually like the scene where the TRex was chasing the jeep back after the others went looking for the kids.

I think it will go for bigger scale special effects and less to character development without a Chrighton novel to base it on
