Early Morning Random Thoughts

A couple of random thoughts from yours truly. Time check is 8:04 am. Haven't had a proper breakfast yet but I did go downstairs in the kitchen earlier and had an egg sandwich and a cup of milk. I guess that would do for now. The fried rice that I wanted for breakfast didn't happen cause there was no left-over rice from last night. Wrote about my love for fried rice here, http://www.personapaper.com/article/26002-flied-lice . Does it bother you if you want something to eat but can't have it at that moment?

Opened the windows in my bedroom and I'm glad to hear birds chirping. This is one of my many simple joys!!! I promise myself that I'll make a bird feeder and water bath and place it near my window so it will attract more birds and I can listen to the symphony of their chirps more.

==========

Local news nowadays contain mostly news about residential and commercial areas being hit by fire. Considering that March is 'Fire Prevention Month' here in the Philippines, I find that disturbing. What bitter irony! Have you experienced a fire first hand?

==========

The weekend is almost upon us and expect another surge of weekend warriors coming to fore!

What are your weekend plans?

That was a great morning there specially the chirping of birds. As I am writing I can hrear a load of them in my garden.

I love the birds singing and the squirrels joining in.

I'm sure with a very beautiful garden, you get more than your fair share of birds.

Yes on the birds but no experience with squirrels. There are no squirrels here in Manila. Too bad.

Perhaps it would be good idea for them to abolish the celebration of Fire Prevention Month because fires usually occur at the very onset of the celebration hehehe!

I experienced a fire first hand. My parents garage caught fire because I absent mindedly left a candle burning that fell over on a curtain while I was gone to make a sandwich in the house, fortunately the garage was not attached. My weekend plans are to turn over some of my flower beds if the weather permits and perhaps plant something. I like to grow flowers but mainly vegetables so I can enjoy eating them right out of my garden. Nothing fancy just my basic 8 X 10 wood bordered mulch filled soil.

That thought has occurred to me FernandoSHA .

Do write about the fire. I hope there wasn't any major damage in the garage.

Also write about gardening your own vegetables. That is one project I want to embark on real soon.

We are going to meet a friend I've been talking with online for fifteen years this weekend. It will be our first meeting and we are both excited.
