Fault in Our Stars

The Fault in Our Stars movie team did a fantastic job of translating the emotion of the book to the big screen. The characters are as loveable onscreen as they were in the book, especially Hazel Grace and Gus. So often movies based on plots brimming with emotion disappoint; it's hard to build the emotion is a short movie and still cover the critical scenes. This movie does both and does it well. For one of my daughters, The Fault in Our Stars movie ranks with her favorite The Princess Bride. I would compare this movie's successful capture of the feeling of the book with The Help. If you're not familiar with John Green's book, be warned this movie will make you cry.
