"No" & You

"No" isn't a word people like to hear. Whether it's in your personal or professional life, it's not a fun word. Sometimes as adults though, it's a word we've just got to get used to. There's lots of instances where 'no' can raise its ugly head.

No, she doesn't want to go out with you. No, you can't afford that. No, those pants don't make you look thinner. No dessert unless you finish dinner. No I before E except after C. Wait...well, you get the picture.

So the next time you want to ask someone out on a date or apply for a job, just remember that the worst thing they can say is, "No." It won't hurt; but it may sting for a bit. Life isn't always positive but we can chose to look at the positive side of life.

There's also another way to look at it. Maybe that "No" that strung saved you from a later life of grief.
