Presenting... Tiramisu ala Allen

On weekends, I would whip this up for a good dessert. This is great to go with coffee and conversations with friends, families, and loved ones.

Here are the ingredients:
1 can ladyfingers biscuits (more popularly known as broas here in the Philippines)
2 cans condensed milk
1 can of all purpose cream
1 bar dark chocolate, cut into pieces
1 cup brewed coffee
1 cup grated cheese

Steps:
1) Combine the condensed milk and all purpose cream in a medium pot. Mix thoroughly. Cover and then chill.
2) Dip the lady fingers in the brewed coffee and then arrange half of the lady fingers in a serving dish.
3) Pour over the lady fingers the milk and cream mixture. Top with half of the dark chocolate and half of the grated cheese.
4) Repeat layers. Cover and then refrigerate for an hour or until it sets. Serve chilled.

For an additional kick, you can use liqueur coffee instead of just brewed coffee. You can also use those spicy dark chocolate (read about it here, http://personapaper.com/article/23993-add-some-spiciness-in-your-sweets ) for an additional layer of flavor.

Enjoy!!!

I love tiramisu. When I lived in Italy we often had tiramisu for dessert. I have never tried to make my own tiramisu, but I am going to give it a try one day.

Coffee in a desert is a new combination for me. But I do not drink coffee.

allen0187 We used to make Tiramisu all the time. And when I was married, the wife at the time made it a lot. She loved it. I actually liked it also. I didn't think I would. But I haven't had this in a long time now.

Wow! I love it. My whole family love it too. I also make some of it sometimes, but I don't think that it is really tasty because my family has a lot of complains so in the end I just ate it all by myself. Lol! But anyway for my taste it is superb!
