Queen Kitty Report: More Strange Human Behavior

"Don't play with that. Really, you have toys. Things you can't ingest," she says, taking away my fun new toy.

Can't ingest? Now, what fun is that ? I simply do not understand the human obsession with making sure that kitties not ingest things. Really, twist ties are fun to play with and are quite tasty as well.

She has been even more obsessed with this idea ever since they took my big brother to the Very Bad Place, aka the vet's office, a couple years ago after he was playing with a rubber band. Really, how much trouble could one little, tasty, rubbery rubber band be?

Then, of course, there is the weird obsession with computer cords.

"No! No! No!" Mommy says when I try to enjoy that nice, tasty computer cord.

What is so wrong with just nibbling a little bit on the cord? It's not like I am keeping her from pretending to work at the computer.

Humans...

Poor Queen Kitty, being deprived of such fun-but-dangerous toys!

Kitty has nice ideas but makes wrong choices. Nice having Kitty for company.

Trust me Queen Kitty, it is for your own good. emoticon :winking:

I have no cats so no worry they could ingest something :)

Humans need more sense of adventure. -Queen Kitty

Mommy tells me that, too. I don't know that I believe her, though. I think that she just wants to keep the fun toys for herself. -Queen Kitty

Queen Kitty sometimes Mommy does know best. Those tings could make you very sick. Just trust her on this.

But they taste so very good--especially the computer cord. Really, Daddy wouldn't be able to resist a plate of cookies. -Queen Kitty

That's a really good point, lol!

Laughing out Loud.... I think your mom will going to freak out the way she sees how you nibble on those cords, one her computer might go out and second you might got hurt of it due to the electricity.

Oh Queen Kitty, sometimes we all just have to compromise in life. After all, if your Mummy isn't happy she may withdraw some of the special treats you enjoy.

This is Guiness the Cat. I totally agree.

OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on March 3, 2015, 3:32 PM

Dear Queen Kitty,

If all those humans think they're so smart, why don't they invent some edible cat toys? Honestly! Humans are incapable of thinking anything through to a logical conclusion.

Sincerely, Guiness the Cat

But the cookies wont burn his mouth, that cord might if you bite through it

LilyDay wrote on March 3, 2015, 7:32 PM

Oh, there have been a couple that Mommy claims that I have "eaten." However, I just nibbled them a bit. Then, she had the nerve to grumble about having to replace them! -Queen Kitty

LilyDay wrote on March 3, 2015, 7:34 PM

Oh, she would never do that to me... mostly because Daddy is the one who hands out the yogurt every morning. -Queen Kitty

LilyDay wrote on March 3, 2015, 7:37 PM

Guiness, for some reason Mommy is laughing about that and saying something about "eating through the budget." As I've said before, humans are strange. -Queen Kitty

My mom's kitty simply loved playing with rubber bands. She never got into any trouble with them.

LilyDay wrote on March 4, 2015, 5:38 AM

Big Brother managed to swallow half of a rubber band. Mommy saw him with it, meant to pick it up and, a moment later, saw him sitting next to half of a rubber band. For that, he got a trip to the vet even though he likely could have vomited it up himself. -Queen Kitty

Hummmm, those sound like fun but I have never seen those round here ... butt I do get to bat those cute round dillies around, but they're too big to swallow and that 2legger always finds them and then puts them in that big bucket that I can't get into, darn ... ~o.o~ Boobear
