Day #3 : 30-Day Song Challenge – A Song That Makes You Happy

When I was a college student, my buddies and I would dance like there was no tomorrow every time “ Boogie Wonderland” was being performed by our favorite band or being played at a party. “Boogie Wonderland ” is a funk music, released in 1979 and performed by Earth, Wind and Fire.

I was actually born in the 80’s. During the late 90’s , there was a retro fever. I was one of the students who would go to our university in retro get up with twiggy hair cut to boot . Do you remember the ambel and bell bottom pants? Hehehe. Along with the 70’s fashion was the return of retro sound. I was so into EWF and Kool & The Gang.

Whenever I hear “Boogie Wonderland” and EWF hits, they bring back the good ol’ days. I study hard and party harder with friends! .

That song make me sad. I always struck me as sarcastic.

I don't think so but that is an interesting interpretation msiduri - it was penned in response to criticism that REM are too downbeat

Interesting. I did not know that.
