Some Simple English To Kiswahili Words You Need To Know When You Visit East Africa

I always appreciate other people’s languages and Cultures and in most scenarios, I do tend to teach one or two basics from one of our National Languages, Kiswahili. Kiswahili is a National Language to almost all countries making the East African region which includes Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi.

Welcome to our world and I do pray that you at least grasp one or two words in Kiswahili.

Hey! – Sasa!

I Love Persona Paper – Ninapenda Persona Paper

How Are You? – Uhali gani?

Thanks - Asante

Welcome Home – Karibu Nyumbani

Welcome To Persona Paper – Karibu Persona Paper

Sorry! – Pole!

Have A Good Night – Lala Salama

Good Morning? – Habari Ya Asubuhi?

Greetings – Salamu

Have You Read Ashley’s latest Updates? – Umeweza Kuyasoma Matangazo Kutoka Kwa Ashley

Since I am trying to have a post which is not dominated by Kiswahili, I guess that the above words would serve you just well in case you one day decide to visit any of the countries in east Africa.

What’s your favorite Kiswahili word for today?
