Marching On...

... aannndddd just like that March is upon us!!! Where did January and February go? I mean, I blinked and slept and when I woke up March is already here. I want my two months back! LOL!
Anyway, just came off my 'No Post Weekend' (read about it here, ).
Well, I didn't post any new articles but I did log in the site. To do what? Well, to have a conversation of course! I went ahead and lread other PPers posts and I also left comments. Some articles basically covered everything so I just liked the post. I also visited the members list and added a couple more PPers to my circle of connections. This is a numbers game yes, so the more the mannyer? LOL! The more, the merrier!!! 'The more the mannyer' is actually a popular saying in our local culture. it is obviously wrong and gets lots of laugh when said among friends and is an obvious rip-off/spin off from the correct adage, 'The more, the merrier!'. DO you guys have 'funny' sayings that you'd like to share? I'd like to hear some!
Now, back to , read that March is from the Roman God Mars and was actually considered the first month of the year before the Gregorian calendar was adopted. Did you ever wonder how life would be different if March 1st was the start of the new year? Now, with the new month, I will embark on a couple new challenges. The first is AliCanary 's 30-Day Song Challenge. It is a regular fixture in the 'Recent Activity' list of the site and I do believe that a number of other PPers are joining the challenge. Another challenge is the started by both valmnz and JeanC . Hence, I'll be numbering my posts and I'll be putting that at the end of each post. This post is post 2. Come to think of it, you only need to submit at least three posts a day to complete the 100 Post Challenge. The third and last challenge is inspired by crowntower . She strives to make 100 comments daily and although, I won't be putting an actual number on my daily comments, I will be numbering each and see how many I make for this month. Come next month, I'll try to make more comments that what I previously made.
So, with all these challenges, I expect March to be a productive one.

Actually March 1 is 29th February, and March 2, 30th February. I am confused (lol)

100 comments per month? 3 posts per day?

A dime a dozen. Nickel for a pickle. Pennies from Heaven. Be more, do more. What goes around comes around. Haste makes waste. Time Marches On! March, get it? Oh well.

Do or do not. There is no try.

You confused me as well bestwriter .

allen0187 wrote on March 3, 2015, 2:48 AM

Not 100 comments per month, as many comments as I can in one month. Yup, 3 or 4 posts a day to meet the 100 posts per month target.

Afraid not lookatdesktop ... LOL!

allen0187 wrote on March 3, 2015, 2:53 AM

I intend to do that Kungfu123 .

Yeah, the Mars bit, I only knew just when I was writing this post. I was surprised as well.

It sounds like you're off to a great start! I did 100 comments in a day once - once was enough! But it did help me n=become established on here.

Thank you. So far I have three posts and twenty comments. Still a long way to go...

Good luck with all those challenges. I've never been one to sign on for them, although the songs one is tempting. I just like to write what I want to write, and don't have time for all of it.

My thoughts exactly BarbRad . The challenges though give me some sort of compass in this writing world of ours.
