No Posting for the Weekend

So last week I decided to try something new. I decided not to post any new articles. The weekend was probably not a good time but I figured if I wanted to do it, I might as well do it immediately. So, I didn't made any new post over the weekend, that was Friday, Saturday, and Sunday here in Manila.

I honestly wanted to spend more time reading the posts of my connections. I'm a speed reader and all but reading posts so fast somehow takes the joy out of reading. Imagine eating a gourmet meal without fully chewing on your food and taking the time to appreciate how delicious it is...yeah, that's the feeling. You feel full but you aren't satisfied... at all!!! Plus, I wanted to put out really nice comments when I feel like it.

Have you tried somethign similar before? Or did you stop doing a habit, for a lack of a better word, of yours just to see how you'll cope and feel? Share your experience here.

So, the 'no posting weekend' in Persona Paper is finally over for me and I'm sure glad that I'm back to posting my thoughts here. Got some stuff lined up already so really excited about it.

I am more or less consistent here but I do feel the need occasionally do it differently.

There are days when I just read posts and comment on them and there are days when I just write but for most, I prefer a balance between the two. I am afriad of missing posts and interesting things people here might have said emoticon

I missed your posting. I managed to get a few in and did a lot of reading myself. I spent six hours here just reading other posts. I commented on most of them.

I don't post much, but I do post. And I like to read what others have said and comment on it. It's more of conversation that way rather than talking to the void.

Flipping things occasionally does break the monotony doesn't it?

Thank you BrenndaMarie . That's what I did as well. Mostly reading and leaving comments.

I prefer to have a balance as well but just this past weekend, I wanted to mix things up.

allen0187 wrote on March 2, 2015, 7:11 PM

That's one way to put it msiduri .
