Plans for the weekend - an aspirational tale
Aspirational plans for this weekend included:
- getting my hair cut
- eBay listings and sales
- decluttering several sad looking piles of paper/post, filing the contents and donating the envelopes to a work colleague whose horse is allergic to regular stable bedding
- writing at least two articles
- sorting out some more entries for my still-in-draft blog
- washing up and laundry
So far, I have sat in or on the bed since 9am looking at eBay items to buy and tweeting links to some of the ones I have ending today in the hope that they will sell. As neither my husband nor I have stirred far from the bedroom so far today, I doubt we'll be motivated enough to get out and traipse over to the barber's.
The decluttering is likely to be done as part of the eBay listings once I have crawled out of my pit, and the writing is next on the list after I've had a mug of tea and found my glasses. Before I crawl out of my pit...
I dare say the dishes and laundry will be done eventually.
But for now, it's back to the amwriting amtweeting amreading state of normality that has become a typical Saturday in this house.

It's about to get that way. The last eBay item of this batch didn't sell so I now have 5 hours to drum up support for the next batch and write or list more items. Writing comes first, I think.

The poor horse, it must be awful for it ,and hard work looking for paper..

Good luck with the ebay selling, that can be so hit and miss. I often look to buy, only to discover that the prices are too high, or what I want is collection only and 200 miles away.:)

Well, my colleague says that with proper bedding her mare should be able to stay off meds for years, and she's hoping for many more years with her yet, as she's only a teenage horse. If it spurs me on to declutter the house quicker, that's all the better too, as then I'll know the work is being useful to someone and her equine friend.

I like to be busy. Makes me feel good. Busy is productive and that's satisfying to me.

My weekend plans have been put on hold this weekend since we are dealing with snow and slick icy roads.

I've had a good month with eBay this past month. One or two things that I have several of are selling regularly off the back of previous sales and a few low-priced items have gone higher in bidding wars, which is really handy. I have a ton of items ending this weekend so it could turn busy tomorrow on that front.

Half an article written so far, lots of research done too. Publicity tweeted and getting some interest on eBay items to top it all off happily.

A sound plan. Stay safe and warm indoors, much easier.

Exactly, we got a brand new puppy and we are having to go through the new puppy experience all over again. We adopted a pit bull mix puppy prom the shelter. We are hoping that our 5 year dog Angel will eventually accept him as her playmate.
