100 miles in 90 days - Fourth Progress Report

This is my fourth report on the walking challenge. I have already crossed the 80-mile mark and with just under twenty miles to go I am feeling very good about myself. Best of all I still have a whole month to go!

If I continue at this pace and do not miss too many days of walking, it looks like I will be completing this challenge in the next couple of weeks, so I need to decide if I continue logging more miles until the end of March or just stop after reaching the 100-mile mark. Also, think I will need new walking shoes pretty soon.

I am also sending my friend AngelSharum lots of positive energy, she has not been feeling well lately, but I hope she recovers and comes back stronger!

As usual here is my progress chart as of today (Feb 27th). Looking at this chart every day really motivates me!

GemstonePink I used to walk without logging the distance, but since I started this year it is nice to see how miles are adding up quickly. Do you walk, run or engage in some similar type of exercise?

Thanks Kasman yes a graph is most of the time a great tool to look at data that otherwise would look dry and complicated.

I am mostly walking around my park twice daily,it is about 3 1/2 miles each time ,then I go to the little park in the evenings,with my dogs dragging me, sometimes I am worried that my arms are getting to macho !! I am going to check on the miles around the park right now...

I have just checked out the miles of the park walking around the outside it is 3 miles so I am doing 6 miles plus another 1+ with the evening park,say 7 1/2 miles a day. Doesn't seem that much though...

Don't even think about stopping at the 100 mile mark. There's always another 100 miles to be walked emoticon :smile:

You have done such a great job! I am so far behind. I don't know if I'll be able to catch up. I might try to walk some soon tonight if my head doesn't get worse.

That is so good to know. Just always keep safe and watch over your health... just like what I said to your first post. It is so cool to really blog your daily activities that are all cool. Hope I can get out of the house too and do something cool.

I like the included chart, and how it shows that you have surpassed your goal on a regular basis. It's like we can literally see your fitness level improving. Great job!

Well sometimes it is 1 hr 1/4 around the big park,but remember I have dogs with me who are continually stopping for a sniff around the trees and watching the squirrels and also socialising with other dogs. In the dark, around the little park ,they are not so bothered and it is about 3/4 hour or so.
first walk is 9am -10.15am,second walk 3pm-4.15pm last walk 10pm -10.45pm ..

Maxeen I apologize for my late reply have not been around too much lately. Well that is certainly a serious chunk of time you devote to walking, I am sure you are so fit. I only have 30 to 60 minutes a day, so I have to make the best of them. Thanks for getting back to me on this, and good luck!
