Morning Snooze Routine

although, i more or less wake up in the morning with no trouble at all i can't seem to get out of this routine...

5:45am alarm set off, press snooze button

6:15am alarm set off, press snooze button

6:30am alarm set off, press snooze button

6:35am alarm set off, throw phone in garbage bin

6:40am roll over and say to myself i'm living a beautiful life

'sigh'... who am i kidding?lol!!!

the snooze goes off in intervals, usually shorter than the time it goes off the first time. dig what i'm saying? i don't usually end up getting out of bed until about 7:00am though and then I start racing for time. i have a love-hate relationship with the mornings and i think i was meant to sleep until 2:00pm everyday. especially after spending one hell of a night through the day.

how does everyone wake up in the morning?

cheers!!!

Perhaps you should gradually start to set the alarm for a little later each day. Say 3 minutes later then usual. This way it won't make much difference with the snooze but you'll eventually get more sleep and be able to wake up faster as well. It's worked for me in the past.

I usually set the alarm ahead of the time I should wake up. It works for me.

Good for you that your body clock is in sync.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try it out for tomorrow.

Oh, man, I'm exactly the same way. I've been known to hit the snooze button 10-15 times before I got out of bed. It's just a habit, though and it can be broken. I asked my friend, who wakes up very early every day to call me in the morning and demand I get up. It took a few days but now I don't have this problem any more.

If I don't have an urgent schedule, such as an outside appointment with a fixed time, I get up when I'm ready. I usually wake around six or seven and go back to sleep for another two-three hours, depending upon whether I got to bed a one or at three.

On my days off, I sleep in late.

I guess, I'm going to look for a friend to bug me in the morning. LOL!
