Good morning or whatever part of the day it is for you. Today is Thursday February 26, 2015. The temperature is 49.5°F and the humidity is 83% at 4:29 a.m. PST (-8 GMT). Weather Underground shows sustained winds at 0 with gusts of 0.7 mph. It was mostly with some clouds on the horizon when I stuck my head out. Weather Underground is predicting a 0% chance of precipitation and a high of 71 today.
We reserved our chairs for the wedding yesterday. That’s about the last big thing. Hard to believe it’s only three weeks away. And then it’ll all be over. It will be so nice to see everyone, though, people I haven’t seen for a long time. It will be the first time all four of us kids will be together in I don’t know how many years. Pictures, pictures, pictures!
I have a very early drive this morning with a pick-up and 5:45 about 11 miles away. I don’t know why I’m so nervous about it. I’m up in plenty of time. I know the appointment location well enough. I imagine he’ll be there for a while. I just keep thinking I’ll be late or something else will go wrong. I’m going to take a long nap when I get home.
Almost done with the book on Teresa of Avila. What a foreign time and mind set. Nevertheless, it is interesting and sad, mostly. If I finish is today, I can review it Friday and miss my two-week naught notice from Examiner. I really have to redo some more Epinions reviews and see if I can’t move my standings up a bit there.
Interestingly enough, on the drive that I couldn’t finish because of the migraine, the rider had already cancelled her appointment, so it was a deemed a no-show. I wish she would have called a little sooner, but by the rules of engagement, I was paid $20. I laughed about that all last night.
And Saturday is my bridal shower. Boy, never thought I’d have one. Been to dozens. My maid of honor is out doing herself. I’ll have to get her a gift basket that shows my appreciation.
Thanks for reading. Hope you and yours are all well and happy. Hope the day brings you good things.
