UEFA Champions League continues

The UEFA Champions League Quarterfinal round continues with the appearance of the last four teams to yet play in this round. These are the two final matches of the first leg:

1. Arsenal (ENG) vs. Monaco (FRA) at Arsenal Stadium in London
2. Bayern Leverkusen (GER) vs Atletico Madrid (SPA) at BayArene in Leverkusen (Germany)

In my opinion Arsenal should win in its home turf, and Atletico de Madrid should at least obtain a draw in its visit to German soil but at this stage anything can happen. We just hope to see great football matched today.

For those who are not familiar with the competion the UEFA Champions League is the most important Football (Soccer) tournament at the Club level in Europe, this is the 59th Edition, that started back in 1955, the reigning champion and most succesful team of all time is Real Madrid from Spain, with 10 wins.

Are you a football (soccer) fan?

It was a surprising night and I was really stunned by Monaco's great evolution. i thought they would play an ultra defensive style, but they showed me they can play great attacking football if they really want to!

SebastianOnciu Right Monaco is almost on the next round, I don't see Arsenal overcoming the goal difference on the road.

As someone who is surrounded by football-Oh my god!! I used to live opposite the Everton Ground which is a couple of minutes walk from the Liverpool ground, I could never park in my own street when a home game was on so I moved. I know lots of footballers but meanwhile hope you enjoy!!
