A little something about myself .. Intro to this site

Hello Guys .. some of you already know me from another site although im new here, this is something about me that will hopefully help you know me a bit better :P

my name is Juan Diego Cedeño, and i was born in Barcelona Venezuela around 27 years ago.(1986), so that makes me 27 years old. My mother is a Pediatrician, and my father is a business man, and they had me as they were both finishing their studies.

My early memories are from around when i was 4 years old, and at the time i lived in Caracas, because it was where my dad worked and my mom was doing her post-degree, after my mom finished her studies, then came a period of both searching for a better location, since both of my parents weren't willing to stay in the hectic lifestyle of the bigger city, so my father got a job opportunity in what were to become my hometown.

As my brother was born, in 1991, we moved to my parents hometown for a few months while my dad found a place in Acarigua (my hometown), at least a provisional one, before moving the family there... since my brother was really young, my mother and i stayed in her hometown til my dad finally managed to find a small studio type place, for us to live in, next on the list was getting me into pre-school, that would become my elementary school, and high school.

After my dad found us a better place to live, we moved to a small 3 bedroom apartment, and they brought my brother in, who at the time was being taken care of by my grandmothers. This would be the 2nd time the whole family would be together. We kept moving as the lease on the places expired, until my dad finally managed to save up money and buy a house, his 1st owned property, and after a few years when i was 8 years old, we moved into what is today my home. i spend a really great childhood that would have been completely different if my parents didn't have the vision and taken the chance of moving into a completely unknown city for them.

My brother and I had a really Great childhood, and built so many memories there. i graduated high-school and my parents wanted to send us away to study English, so naturally i was the 1st one to go away for a long period of time, after my graduation i went to New Zealand for a year, there my experience was awesome, Even though it wasn't as it was supposed to be, i couldn't have had it any other way. i had 5 different host families (not my fault btw, it was an org issue finding a full time family, and ended up in a few different part time families) and allowed me to know a bunch of awesome people in my experience there, and since its a pretty uncommon country to go on as an Latin american exchange student, we only had 2 venezuelan student in NZ that year.

I spent that year in Auckland which is not the capital but its the biggest city in NZ... but that should be something for another story.. bottom line is i spent the whole 2004 there, and came back in 2005, so Even though i had loved there, i was also missing my family back home, so when i came back it was back in reality, and back in my life, after coming back, i had gotten accepted into college, so i started studying business administration, i started out great but something was a miss, i started to have bad results and fail subjects. I was unmotivated for a while and since i am quite a introverted person, i didn't share this concern with my parents, and eventually kept piling up and got me in a depression, After 2 years and a half of inconsistent results in my studies i decided to go to vocational therapy, and therapy in general, where i realized the root of my depression and my bad results were due to the fact that i was not happy with my career choice.

After doing vocational therapy and tests, i realized the areas i would like to work on, and decided to study psychology, after a long period of ''wasted time'' or as i called it ''experiential learning'' i started to study psychology about 3 and a half years ago, im glad to say my results immediately picked up in consistency, and im way happier now than i ever was studying my previous career.

well this is pretty much a quick sum of my life so far, and i hope it helps you get to know a little more about me
