The first day I met my soul-mate!
The first day I met my soul-mate was really unexpected. As I mention in another post, I met her on a online dating site. I joined the site out of curiosity, boredom, and hell why not...I could find my soul-mate right? I had been on the site for just 3 days and talked to a few people but non that really interested me. On the 3rd day of being on the site I got a message from this beautiful little woman that really caught my eye. She did not put to much on her profile but I really didn't mind. She asked me if I would like to chat because she really liked what I had to say on my profile. I thought well I am attracted to her, so lets see what her personality and what kind of person she might be. Before we got going on our conversation, I asked her for a favor. I asked her to take a picture of her holding a paper with my name on it. I just wanted to make sure it was the person that was in the profile picture. Sure enough about 5 minutes later she emailed me a picture that I requested. My request might have sounded silly to some people but it let me ease my mind a little of who I was talking with. She asked me for the same favor, so did the same for her. Since she lives in the Philippines and I live in the United States, our time is 14 hours apart. We talked for a few hours, and I really was liking what I was learning about her. We talked until she fell a sleep on me. I didn't mind because I really enjoyed our conversation and it was about 2 a.m her time. I wasn't totally sure though if she just fell a sleep or lost interest in me. I ended up getting a fat replay, which brought a smile to my face.
I added that first picture that she sent me, the one with my name in it.
ISo now you know a little bit about how Kathy and I met. I will keep adding more post about journy and where our relationship is at and where it is heading.

I do believe in love at first sight as that´s what I felt for my future husband more or less. I hope your meeting goes very well and you have indeed found your soul mate.

Good for you then! I usually heard about disastrous stories from online dating sites so it is refreshing to hear a good love story unfold. I'll be looking forward to reading more about your relationship with Kathy.

Yes, I have heard of some disastrous ones also..I also have friends that have wonderful ones. You will have plenty to read. And soon we are creating a site all about us and the journey. I will let everyone know when its up and running. Thank you for the time you give to read and comment.
