Nice to see the Image Wizard Working (Again). Cheers elitecodex!

Well, panic over and all that - the Image Wizard is working so I've managed to attach an image to this post as well as to return to my last two posts and edit those to include the images I intended to accompany them. So far I'm only using Pixabay images, but I might get adventurous later.

This will help everybody to produce more visually pleasing posts at the drop of a hat. So it's a good api integration - nice work elitecodex - cheers mate!

I'd not want to start a writing site like Persona Paper because of all the whining and moaning, unappreciative members, like me :)

There's nothing worse than having a plan, then having your day interrupted because people can't use the features you put in place, people with nothing better to do than moan about it :) So, no, it's not for me - I definitely will never start a writing site like Persona Paper because I'm just not a people person, nor a crowd pleaser.

I am having so much fun using the new addition. Makes things so much easier. Very thankful for that!

elitecodex worked very hard to fix things yesterday, along with MaeLou who let us know what was happening. I was impressed with the speed of communication trying to help me, when so many others must also have been experiencing problems.

It is nice to have it working and admins who are quick on the ball to get things fixed. Things like that make hanging out here most enjoyable

Yeah, elitecodex is the man. There's nothing he can't do. The only problems arise when he just leaves at the time the glitch appears or he's not home for a few days :)

UK_Writer wrote on February 24, 2015, 5:35 PM

Yes, it's much faster and for those that don't understand it, they now know it's safe and they don't have to understand attribution

UK_Writer wrote on February 24, 2015, 5:36 PM

I just left them to it. I know things get fixed in time. It was annoying when I thought it was working and it wasn't, but now it is, so it's all good again.

UK_Writer wrote on February 24, 2015, 5:37 PM

Yep, it's nice to know somebody's on the case if there's a problem - and there's not just a wall of silence.

UK_Writer wrote on February 24, 2015, 5:37 PM

Nothing? Ah, I'll ask him for a GA box in my profile then emoticon  That'd be good.

MaeLou wrote on February 24, 2015, 5:38 PM

I'm glad it's working for the most part. There still seems to be some bugs, but we expect that and plan to fix them as we experience them.

I didn't purposefully omit you from the post title by the way ... it was getting too long for you to make the Include List

That is a great news... hehehehe... I just used the gallery just now, and I might used later the image wizard later on my next post. Thank you so much for the heads up. God bless and have a great day. It is really not that nice if all the post articles are not having photos.. it is a little boring and sad, it is okay if a few like me who does not always put a photo in my post but seeing the whole community without it... it is like a colorless world. Hehehe. God bless again.

I'm making the most out of this new feature but I have limited using pictures that I have taken myself.

Good work elitecodex !!!

I am too enjoying this, I can use pixabay pictures with my post now. Before I had to rely on my own pictures repetitively since I do not have a lot.

I was calm as a clam when things went slightly haywire but knew elitecodex would bring something out from his bag of tricks and there you are.

MaeLou wrote on February 24, 2015, 9:15 PM

LOL! Will does all the programming anyway, I'm just here to get on everyone for not listening emoticon :winking:

Yes, posts without images make for a boring home page. The image wizard should make it cheerier and more inviting.

UK_Writer wrote on February 25, 2015, 2:47 AM

I used to use Pixabay, but it took longer for me to go to the site, find an image, download it, make any adjustments, then check the license and give the correct attribution/credit. So this will save loads of time.

UK_Writer wrote on February 25, 2015, 2:48 AM

You'll have noticed it more, as you write so prolifically - for me I could just stop until it was OK again

bestwriter wrote on February 25, 2015, 2:59 AM

Unfortunately I still cannot upload images to my article title.

jiangliu1949 wrote on February 25, 2015, 7:27 AM

So far I have only started a few of posts and used photos taken by myself ,so know nothing about Wizard and Pixabay .I will give them a try later .

UK_Writer wrote on February 25, 2015, 8:52 AM

What a nuisance. It must be personal, it just hates you :)

UK_Writer wrote on February 25, 2015, 8:53 AM

It's certainly an easy way to put an image on a quick post where you don't have a photo. We can't all have photos of what we write about, it'snot physically possible all the time. Well worth trying it to see how it works/what free photos fit into your post.

bestwriter wrote on February 25, 2015, 9:18 AM

Its not just me. I have a post on it

jiangliu1949 wrote on February 26, 2015, 2:23 AM

Yes ,we do have problem with photos ,if we post more posts .Free photos would brighten up our posts .

FreyaYuki wrote on February 27, 2015, 9:45 AM

Yeah, it's good that it's working now. I was able to add an image to one of my most recent articles here as well.

UK_Writer wrote on February 27, 2015, 12:02 PM

Yes. I've not checked recently, but I did notice (yesterday?) that when I edited an older post it lost the photo I'd uploaded - and the image credit, which was a bit annoying as I had to upload it again and find the credit again
