It’s Hard To Come Up With Post Ideas

When I have the time and motivation to post, I like to make posts on multiple posts such as this one. It sounds so simple, right? Just logging in and posting when the schedule permits it. Actually, it can be hard coming up with posts, and sometimes I have no idea why.

I can post about my day, and when there is nothing going on, I can go through some random thoughts; share things on my mind. When I have nothing to share, I can talk about past experiences, such as WWE events and concerts. I can also look for writing prompts and challenges.

The problem is, sometimes I am just not in the mood to answer a specific writing prompt or write about my Wrestlemania 29 trip for the hundredth time. I usually enjoy going through my WWE trips or looking through writing challenges, but you're not always motivated or in the mood.

It's weird, because there is so much I can write about, but when the motivation is feels like I am having a hard time coming up with post ideas. Has that ever happened to any of you guys? It would be nice to have the ideas and the motivation to just post...whenever!

Okay, this post is turning into a mess lol. I got my point across; I have a hard time coming up with ideas, even when they're right in front of me. You all have a good weekend and take care.

I feel you. I've been having this so-called 'writer's block' for weeks now and as much as I wanted to come up with quality content, my brain just froze up. lol :)

I use this for blogging, so my content isn't always "quality" - but it sucks when you either cannot think of anything, or every idea you come with is like "ehhhh, maybe tomorrow."

I have the same problem. And I have multiple sites I write on, and multiple blogging platforms I like to use. I never know what to write and then when I come up with an idea I don't know where to write it!

Like you say, sometimes even when the ideas are there the motivation is not. Then it's best to walk away, take a break, go do something else, rather than try and force it.

ViperGirl85 wrote on February 22, 2015, 12:52 AM

Right! And you don't always want to post the same thing on all the sites. This is one of the reasons why I am not joining another one right now lol.

ViperGirl85 wrote on February 22, 2015, 12:53 AM

True that. If I try to force it, the post could turn into a mess.

My problem is lack of time - I've so many ideas for posts but it seems that there's never enough time to write everything down. I wish we had more time to write and do stuff.

Before the bubblews crash I was so fired up I never felt short of something to write about, but all that has changed and I´m feeling the effect myself right now too. I think the spur with bubblews was the way our earnings added up so fast, and with that gone, I wonder at times if it´s really worth the effort and time I put into writing.

Yes, what's more difficult for us is to find the topic to write.

ViperGirl85 wrote on February 22, 2015, 1:41 PM

Yeah, between writing and babysitting, time to blog is not always on my side.

ViperGirl85 wrote on February 22, 2015, 1:42 PM

Even with those earnings, there were still days where I had that lack of motivation or case of writers block, but I guess it happens to us all lol.

ViperGirl85 wrote on February 22, 2015, 1:42 PM

Right, or topics we feel like writing about at the time.

There are a lot of ideas to write about especially if we focus on more personal ones like experiences that we had. I think what makes it difficult to write is when you lack motivation and inspiration.

I like focusing on personal stuff/blogging, it's just sometimes the motivation isn't there.
