Let It Melt! Let It Melt! Let It Melt!

I know I should not complain considering the weather that my fellow Americans in the northeastern states have had to deal with, but we all know that is not going to stop me. After starting out as a much milder winter than we suffered last year, an icy mix of sleet and snow has finally found its way here. Oh sure, we will thaw up a bit by Wednesday when we should reach the low 40s (or around 4 or 5° for those of you using that other scale), but then high temperatures will be back below freezing again for Thursday and Friday. Just to prove you can practically see the weather change in eastern North Carolina, we will then hit 52° (or 11°) on Saturday and 65° (18°) on Sunday while the lows never even drop below freezing for a couple of days. Of course, then freezing temps and more snow is back the first of next week. Enjoy the warm weather my southern hemisphere friends. We'll be sending this back to you as soon as we can!

I remember a song about a person who had to take his dog out in the snow every day. The chorus was "Yellow snow! Yellow snow! Yellow snow!"

I doubt if you will be able to send it as far southwest as I am. We are enjoying lovely sunshine and weather close to the eighties. It's like spring. I just wish we'd get some more rain.

It might be cold, but your photo is stunning.

I am also experiencing the weather in the American Southeast - in my neck of the woods, we got an itty-bitty, teeny bit of snow, and a BUNCH of sleet, so the town is shut down at the moment because it's now a giant ice-skating rink.

I hate it when the snow turns to ice. It is so dangerous!

I suppose you can hang onto the warmth a little longer. I hate being cold but I do want to be fair LOL.

Are you thinking of the Zappa song..."Watch out where the huskies go, and don't you eat that yellow snow!" That was always one of my favorite tracks by Frank LOL.
