Do you take naps on lunch break

It is already lunch time in my place and some of my office mates are taking their naps. We are given an hour to eat our lunch, do our chores and respond to the call of nature. Some of them prefer to take this as an opportunity to take short naps at their quarters. Their works are tiresome and exhausting that they need to take some good rest to recharge. I do not know if this is true to other offices but this scheme is accepted in our management. They managers may have seen the necessity of quick breaks to enhance the efficiency of workers. After all, a tired worker is as unproductive as an absent employee. I certainly agree to that notion.

Quick naps during lunch time are okay with me.

In my case, I do not join my coworkers while they take their naps. I feel like I am wasting time sleeping in the middle of the day.

Sometimes I'd take a quick nap during my break. My phone has an alarm that I would set for ten minutes. It really helped. One day I heard someone snoring in a men's room stall. I never said anything about him.

Yes. When I was an elementary teacher , I would take a nap during lunch break and even during my break time. Teaching is physically, emotionally and mentally demanding job.

Back in the day , yes I do quick naps... power naps as I like to call them. Nowadays though because of the nature of my work, I don't get naps anymore. Be caught sleeping and you get a disciplinary action.

When I was still in graveyard shift, I would always take a 30-minute nap during my lunch break. However, now that I am working a normal shift (day time), I no longer require siesta or power naps since the sleep I get at night is usually enough.

I dont nap very often. So an hour lunch is too long for me.
