A Healthy Early Lunch!

Good day fellow PPers!

Just done with some early lunch. We have grilled pork chops, corn, and carrots. There was also some sweets like donuts and cake. Lunch was enjoyable... for the rest of my family. I'm stuck with an energy bar and a bottle of lemon water. ***sigh***

People have the misconception that if you work out, you can eat anything afterwards. That sounds like pigging out to me!!! I train hard and I make sure I watch what I eat. I have cheat meals but that's that. Sunday is usually the day I have cheat meals. Is it Sunday yet? LOL! You build your body in the kitchen as much as in the gym. Remember that. So yeah, I had a bar of Quest and all the lemon water I want. Hooray!!! I'm so... excited ... and disappointed... and just frustrated... Hahahahahahaha!!! The Quest and lemon water ain't that bad but man, those pork chops look great!!! Must... stay... away...

Have you found yourself struggling to stick to your diet? Share your thoughts!

Cheers!!!

Sticking to a diet is an inspiration in itself. I don't usually diet but sometimes my mother pulls me up.

i don't think you should worry about what you eat at lunch time unless you have health restrictions. What you should avoid is late dinner.

What a mouth-watering lunch you had, my friend, hahaha! As for me, I really get full immediately even with little food eaten because it has been a habit for me to have a cold glass of water while taking a meal and that makes me full fast.

When I used to go to the gym (centuries ago. lol) I would only have two pieces of banana for every meal or one piece of boiled egg. If I get sick with those two, I'd have a plain oatmeal (no milk nor sugar added). Yes, it was hell during the first few weeks but I soon have adopted.
Fast forward to 2015, I have been planning to go back to the gym and of course, that needs healthier and less-calorie-filled diet.

I know that if you work out you also need to watch what you eat... I know that fact, because I have seen it tips in some of the television programs that has to do with the human health and body. God bless.
