Celebration Time Again, 2000 Coins in the Bank

When I logged on tonight I was quite blown away. I've been here less than a month, having joined on 17 January, and here I am celebrating my second milestone already. On 31st January, just eleven days ago, I reported I'd reached my first thousand coins and felt rather pleased with my progress.

Now here I am celebrating once again. I currently have 2003 coins in the bank, worth the grand total of $3.00. It has taken me 63 articles, twenty five days and a lot of commenting to achieve this. And, according to my bank page this is means I've covered 15% toward my minimum pay out. I'm actually quite surprised to have travelled this far so quickly.

One of the things I learned early in my Persona Paper journey was that commenting on the posts of others earned me coins and I think this is where my smooth flowing journey has benefited. Being able to earn coins by commenting rather than writing and waiting for others to comment is the kind of proactive approach I like. It means my progress is in my own hands.

I'm a very competitive person, so I enjoy watching those coins in the bank grow. I am now concentrating my online wring on this site alone, that certainly seems to help. So, I shall go to bed smiling tonight, knowing that building up the cents here on Persona Paper is not as difficult as I initially thought it may be.

2000 coins? Wow, congratulations! You only need 31,000 more coins to cash out :)

Easy peasy emoticon  slow and steady suits me fine.

SoundNFury wrote on February 11, 2015, 1:14 AM

Congratulations! I have also started to focus my online writing to this site (in addition to the occasional blog post.) Those milestones are motivating!

luisga814 wrote on February 11, 2015, 1:18 AM

Congratulations for the achievement. Easy, not 31000 coins to earn $20 cashout. You need 13333 coins to cashout and since you already have 2000, you only need 11333. Goodluck.

valmnz wrote on February 11, 2015, 1:20 AM

I really enjoy reading the celebration posts of others. It keeps me motivated.

valmnz wrote on February 11, 2015, 1:24 AM

Every one says a different amount. Going by the fact that I seem to be earning $1.50 per 1000 coins I reckon I'll need about 1400 coins.

Dawnwriter wrote on February 11, 2015, 1:26 AM

Smile away..and we are smiling with you emoticon  I am sure you will take over bestwriter any minute now hehe;-) Well done and let's see when you reach 3000 coins.

Dawnwriter wrote on February 11, 2015, 1:30 AM

It is the same amount for everyone. I think bestwriter is aiming for $50 which translates to 33,334 coins but payment is at $20 which are actually 13,334 coins.

Congrats!! It seems there is a jet engine somewhere emoticon

You're way ahead of me, I've just reached $2 :) It's slow/tough going isn't it.

BeckyWiegers wrote on February 11, 2015, 5:50 AM

Congratulations! This sort of thing is no golden parachute but it IS fun to have a little motivation - and this seems like a REALLY pleasant neighborhood. I can easily see Persona Paper becoming my new home!

Hollyhocks100 wrote on February 11, 2015, 6:37 AM

I´m spoiled by bubbles earnings (well the one´s that weren´t snatched from me) I hope it does get easier to earn here soon as the slowness is definitely a killer for me.

nbaquero wrote on February 11, 2015, 7:37 AM

Actually that is not correct MommyCharm to cash out one needs 13,333 coins. So I think knowing this will give you a little more motivation. emoticon :winking:

nbaquero wrote on February 11, 2015, 7:38 AM

Exactly luisga814 I did not see you had already responded.

Well valmnz from the other side of the world I am sending you a big Congratulary greeting! Well done, you have been certainly very active and have share some interested posts and comments with Persona Paper community! Wishing you the best here!

I have already figured out it will be fall before I can redeem so I am feeling slightly underwhelmed at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I love all the people here so I will come visiting even if I decide to skip writing. :)

LindaCPearson wrote on February 11, 2015, 9:51 AM

Congratulations! You have been working very hard. I only have 27 cents (179 coins) so I have a very long way to go. Commenting is definitely critical to getting those coins.

Good going valmnz. I envy you and I too am learning a trick or two. I guess persona paper is a breeze so long as our articles and comments keep trickling out. Let us keep the stream going.

crowntower wrote on February 11, 2015, 1:38 PM

That is the exact thing that I noticed in Persona when I first join in, I was not allowed to post any article because they are still evaluating my application, while waiting I did tried commenting and seeing my coins is increasing. God bless, and thank you for this wonderful news that keep us motivated here.

valmnz wrote on February 11, 2015, 1:40 PM

Thank you. I'm not doing anything different here than I've done on other sites in the past. If I like a site I throw myself in.

valmnz wrote on February 11, 2015, 1:42 PM

Apart from the crazy days of Bubblews I don't think so. I write two or three pieces a day and comment on as many as I have time for. I've belonged to sites far slower than this.

valmnz wrote on February 11, 2015, 1:43 PM

Once I settled here it didn't take long for this to become my new writing home.

valmnz wrote on February 11, 2015, 1:44 PM

I'd belonged to other sites before Bubblews so I knew it was too good to be true there. This is a great site compared to many others.

valmnz wrote on February 11, 2015, 1:45 PM

Thank you. I really am enjoying myself here.

valmnz wrote on February 11, 2015, 1:47 PM

Like any site, you need to make the commitment. I write two or three posts a day and read and comment on as many as I can. We were split by the unreal payments for a while at Bubblews. Also, if you forget about the money, earning coins is fun.

I look at writing on here as fun, not work. The other writing I do is draining on my brain, so relaxing here suits me.

valmnz wrote on February 11, 2015, 1:50 PM

I think as long as we're enjoying ourselves it will be easy.

DarkSinistar wrote on February 11, 2015, 2:19 PM

If I ever get back to the point that I have time to spend online, I will probably spend more time here and less in other places. Especially since I see quite a few friends around.

valmnz wrote on February 11, 2015, 2:38 PM

The transition here has been easy for me.

BrenndaMarie wrote on February 11, 2015, 3:27 PM

2000 coins wow that i a lot. I am not even half way there. Keep up the good work. You will reach payout before you know it.

valmnz wrote on February 11, 2015, 4:09 PM

I think the idea is to simply enjoy yourself and not worry too much.

Hollyhocks100 wrote on February 12, 2015, 3:06 AM

I agree. I was very active on Hubpages at one time, and you are lucky to make payout in 6 months there, and it takes a lot more work too.

cheri wrote on February 12, 2015, 11:23 PM

Congratulations! I have not even reached a thousand but I have reason to celebrate as well as I have earned a dollar!
