I never thought I'd wear these!
Yesterday Will and I went grocery shopping at Target. The main goal was penny-pinching. I got pounds of pasta for $1 a pound as well as pasta sauce and taco fixings. They had a lot of good deals for things we needed, as well as for things we didn't need. This is a story about something we really didn't need.
We got Gayle a pair of yoga pants. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about them or even if they'd fit. I'm a big girl and even the XXL looked tiny. Will wanted to splurge and they were only $20 so I didn't say too much. We got home and I tried them on. The only time they've come off since then is when I went to bed last night. They're so comfortable! Because they're stretchy and hug you, it's like a second layer of skin. I feel really great when I'm wearing them, slimmer almost. Not to mention, they make my butt look super great, which is Will's favorite part. He asked if I planned to wear them in public like some girls do. No, I said, because they're not pants.
To me, they're in the same category as pajama pants. Lounge around the house all you want in them but don't wear them in public. Of course this rule like many others, doesn't apply to college kids.

Ahem. I oughtn't to comment, seeing as I am currently arrayed in a pair of ANCIENT pj pants, my 24 year old alma mater sweatshirt and second hand Ugg boots worn as winter slippers.
But if I had the figure for yoga pants, yes I would so wear them.

I use to wear yoga pants, but I like things loose now. My daughter wears them often, and she's quite attractive in them. She's tall and thin with long legs. I'm short and average with average legs. Yoga pants just make me seem more "average." Now, you go on and be that fashionista!

Reminds me of the yoga pants I used to wear two years ago and I think I got it for only Php 400 (or $10) from Surplus Shop. Now they cost more than Php 700 ($18) and I badly need one since I will be starting working out pretty soon (again) and yes, they are very comfortable to wear!

I saw on the news this morning that a senator - did not catch his name - is trying to get yoga pants made illegal. We'll see how that goes!

Believe me, I do not have the figure for yoga pants. But I wear them around my house because they're comfy. Just like your sweatpants/shirt combo. =)

I am kinda tall. So tall I ended up getting the size marked Long because I thought I would need the extra inches. Turns out I didn't but it's nothing I can't handle.
