54.5 to Go

I waited to post my update until tonight because I wasn't sure if I would get a walk in today or not. It turns out that I did not. I woke up with a headache this morning and spent part of the day lying down. The rest of it I spent watching television on the couch. My headache is not as bad as this morning, but it's still there so I didn't want to chance the treadmill. I hope to do it again tomorrow though. Still, I'm doing pretty well.

We walked for 2 miles at the park on Saturday evening and then 2.3 miles on our hike on Sunday. That's really good for me. I'm hurting and sore all over from the walks, but I had fun. We hiked at Savage Gulf again, which was nice.

I see that nbaquero is doing great on his challenge. I hope the rest of y'all are as well.

Hiking and walking is cool. But I love walking since I was in kindergarten, just circling in the school while I am waiting for my mom to fetch me. When I was in elementary I walk home with my friends until Highschool and I bought a lot of ensaymada bread the remaining allowance I had for that day an watched my favorite tv series. Lol! when I am in college I would ride a jeep that will drop me off to a church and pray and then walk home. I really love walking.

I walking when I was child, I loved to walk around my area that I have never visited it. But Now It seems I have no time to do it. Hope you get well soon from your headache.

I use to do a lot of walking for exercise. Now I just get on my stationary bike, on most days for exercise. With arthritis in my ankles it is easier to bike.

I don't know how you do it. I would have to take something. You are tough though.

It sounds like you love it. That is a good thing though. Walking is great exercise.

A bike is easier sometimes. I used to have one but now I have the treadmill. I have arthritis in my knees and wrists and bursitis in my hip. I'm sorry you have it in your ankles.

Me too! We will probably skip this coming weekend. Not sure yet.

Well, I do take Ibuprofen if things get so bad I can't handle it. I just can't take the chance of making my liver worse any sooner because I sure don't want to need a liver transplant.
