100 miles in 90 days - Third Progress Report

I am pleased to share that on February 5th I reached half of the challenge total distance. I am already at the 50-Mile mark in my challenge. As you can see in the chart below, I ahead of plan and have about 8 days of cushion now.

The not-so-good news is that my knee and lower back were hurting earlier in the week. I had to do additional stretching sessions in the evening to try to alleviate the pain. It has worked for the most part, but the knee is still a little sore.

I was going to try 3-mile walks next week, but will have to take it easy for a few days, until I am pain free again. No need to rush considering I am ahead of plan.

Below you can see the Progress Tracking Chart as of February 5th. Red Line is the distance to be covered according to Plan, and Blue Line is actual distance covered so far.

Walking is something that I fi hader every year, so I would struggle aiming for100 metres in 90 days.

Wow that is cool to know and congratulations to you for being one of those great people who really know how to discipline its self.

Well done. My walking has dwindled a little lately, and the graph I use on my phone looks sad! But I know I'll be back into it again soon.

You are doing great! I have been walking but haven't posted an update in a few days. I woke up with a headache today so I'm waiting to see if I feel like walking any before posting my latest totals.

What a great challenge and glad to hear you are doing so well with it and that you plan on using the extra you have done so far as a way to rest and heal. Good luck with the rest of this.

You and AngelSharum have been most diligent about staying on track for your goal of 100 miles in 90 days. I'm sorry to hear about your knee and back pain, but think your plan of resting a bit to let your knee heal is a good one. Congratulations on your progress!

Koalemos especially if you are just strolling in the Spanish Coast! LOL.

trufflehunter I am doing much better now, thanks!

Koalemos wrote on February 13, 2015, 1:17 PM

Oh yes, that is definitely my idea of walking.

nbaquero wrote on February 13, 2015, 1:17 PM

Thanks phoenixmaid this is a great challenge, and hopefully I will finish ahead of time.

Feisty56 Thanks, nothing major with my back and knee. I am doing much better this week, and hope to continue strong next week.

I really need to get going on this challenge. Writing is quite a sedentary endeavor, and this is a perfect way to counteract that!

nbaquero wrote on February 19, 2015, 11:18 AM

AliCanary that would be awesome if you really want to take this challenge!
