Macro and Close Up Photography Video

I put together a video of some macro and close up photography yesterday and put it on Youtube. I thought I'd share the link with y'all in case anybody wanted to check it out. I have shared some of the photos on here already, but not all of them.

I have flowers, bugs, and texture shots on there. Some are of things other than nature. I like the mix of things I put together and I hope y'all will as well. Please, if you do watch the video, let me know what you think of it. I don't get many comments on the photo videos so I'd love to know if people actually like them or not.

Here is the video: Macro and Close Up Photography Thanks for checking it out. I appreciate it.

Very nice, though a couple of the photo puzzled me that I couldn't figure out. How did you make this? How did you find the music in the public domain? I'd like to try something like this sometime.

I will check out your video in a minute. I saw some amazing macro photo┬┤s of snails once and was blown away by them, they were truly beautiful.

AngelSharum Nice video, the dragonfly picture at the end is my favorite.

Thanks. A lot of people like the dragoflies. I am partial to them myself.

Thanks. Roy spied him outside our home in Alabama one day and brought him in for me to see.

I put the video together in Movie Maker, which comes with a lot of computers or you can download it for free I believe. It has a section on there for finding music. I click on it and go to the site and find one that is free for commercial use. I just have to put the attribution at the end of the videos.

You should get back into it. :)

I bet. I can imagine what a snail looks like really close. I don't have a great macro lens so mine won't be quite like that.

Thanks for sharing the link. I'll definitely watch it in a bit. I'm into photography and macro photography fascinates me. I'm taken a couple of shots of flowers and butterflies but I'm unsure if I did it correctly. Will make a post about it soon.

I'll look for the post. I'm not sure if I do it correctly either, but I sure have fun trying.

Are these all taken with a digital camera or are, at least, some taken with an older 35mm? I've got some pretty good 35mm stuff which is now considered next to worthless despite having some decent photographs, including macro. The less expensive digital camera (relatively speaking) I currently have does alright, but doesn't give me the kind of hands-on control I'm used to and want back.

Now that is getting up close and personal.
