Another day, another few dollars
So, as I predicted yesterday, all the rain that fell last night has now evaporated and seems to be hanging over my desk like a warm, damp duvet. Yet again I'm working in the sweatbox. Yesterday turned out pretty well though, from a professional point of view. I'm working on a short biography of Alan Turing and by the time I went to bed I'd managed over 4,000 words. At this rate I should have it done sometime late tomorrow, and I'll be able to get on with the next job.
In case anyone was worried about the cat, he returned home in the early hours of the morning looking slightly damp and very annoyed. He hung around long enough to eat two bowls of food and be dosed with flea drops, and is now outside again basking in the sunshine. Just another day at Fergus Towers.
