ANIME - Category Challenge
I'm embarking on a Category Challenge and as the name of the challenge implies, it is simply writing a post in the different categories of Persona Paper. Truth be told, I had written before that I wanted to expand my PP horizons (read it here, http://www.personapaper.com/article/23034-im-expanding-my-persona-paper-horizons ). Well, what better way to step it up in that matter than getting into this challenge.
So, here it is... the first category up is 'Anime'. I would have done 'Animal' but I seriously don't have an idea for it. Perhaps some other time.
Let me say that I'm not a big anime fan. I watch a handful of animes and I really don't follow any specific show. I remember watching 'Macross' when I was a kid and then later on I was a fan of 'Astroboy'. I remember 'Dragon Ball Z' was popular then but I never really got into it. My younger sister and brother are more anime fans than I am and through them I discovered more anime titles like 'Pokemon', 'Detective Conan', 'Naruto', 'One Piece', 'Slam Dunk', 'Flame of Recca', among others. Of the shows I mentioned here, I think it is only 'Pokemon' and 'Detective Conan' that I can actually sit and watch a whole episode without my mind wandering off.
Anyway, I'm sure there are die-hard anime fans out there here in the site and I'm looking for really good titles that I can watch. Do you anime guys and girls have any suggestions?

Perhaps, the site can do without this category or even put this as a subcategory under TV. Just a thought.

My children watched a little of that when they were younger. I have never watched any of it. It doesn't interest me.

My granddaughter used to be really into anime art and could draw them very well. They are kinda cute but not my favorite art form at all.

Detective Conan or Meitantei Conan is a good anime. Very interesting. There are lots of popular ones out there.

Wow! Astroboy is the anime of my super youth! Lol! hen Astroboy loses its power and there is no place to charge his energy... I really feel sad when I am watching his pitiful face on our television screen. Heheheh. God bless. What about Sentai? Bioman and Maskman are my favorites and are the best among Sentai series!

He-Man was an american product, it would qualify as a cartoon, but not an anime. It was very popular back in the day though!

Anime doesn't appeal to everyone that much is true CoralLevang . I don't watch it often but I do see some things in anime that interests me.
