I'm Expanding My Persona Paper Horizons!!!

One thing I noticed while looking at my profile was that the categories that I usually posts in are limited... very limited. I have posted in a couple of categories so far, most of it under 'personal', some of it under 'sports', and a couple more in 'random' and some in 'music' and 'food'. I even wrote a post about choosing which category to post articles.

Anyway, like what I said in the post title, I decided to expand my Persona Paper horizons by posting articles in other categories. I just think that putting articles out there in different categories increases one's readership base which as we all know is a must to excel here in Persona Paper.

So my fellow PPers, expect to see me allen0187 pop up in different categories in the days to come. I know that there are other PPers who are doing a category challenge, well, here is my version.

Cheers!!!

allen0187 I just write a post then determine what category it belongs in. Granted, most of what I write belongs in personal or random.

When I like a post I read it and matters little under which category it is. What I feel you have in mind is to diversify your own thoughts.

Point taken inertia4 . Thanks.

I write mostly in personal and animals. It is just where what I am writing about lands

As Persona doesn't have a 'crap' category my posts usually end up in humour....lol

allen0187 wrote on February 4, 2015, 8:27 PM

Thanks for the insight. It definitely is a different perspective bestwriter .

Makes sense wolfgirl569 . Curious that you should mention the 'animals' category, I honestly think that most posts end up there by accident.

allen0187 wrote on February 4, 2015, 8:42 PM

I thought I had the monopoly on crap posts... LOL!

Good luck with it. I post mostly in the Pictures category and I don't see that changing any time soon.

SoundNFury wrote on February 4, 2015, 8:48 PM

I think that's a good strategy. I usually end up writing in a certain group of categories too. Makes sense to add diversity to the mix.

allen0187 wrote on February 4, 2015, 9:20 PM

I won't say that's limited perhaps specialization is a better description for it &VisionofHope .

allen0187 wrote on February 4, 2015, 9:20 PM

'Pictures' is one category I want to post a lot as well.

SoundNFury , my thinking as well. Diversity is always good in my opinion.

wolfgirl569 wrote on February 4, 2015, 11:11 PM

I have done that a couple of times by accident lol. But most I have there belong there

allen0187 wrote on February 4, 2015, 11:49 PM

Good for you then. I'm doing a category challenge and it is no surprise that i had to skip the animal category. Perhaps, something will come up.

Hmmm, I really like the above-mentioned "crap" categories, and feel many of my pieces would be right at home there.

wolfgirl569 wrote on February 5, 2015, 9:54 AM

I have a few there if you have not read them yet, just posted one yesterday

allen0187 Very good initiative, not only it expand your reach but also takes you out of your comfort zone. Good Luck!

LeaPea2417 wrote on February 5, 2015, 2:03 PM

That is a good goal to set for yourself. I should do that. It would make my posts more interesting I would think.

inertia4 wrote on February 6, 2015, 8:20 AM

allen0187 No problem. I cannot write a post for a category. Whatever I write comes out the way it comes out. So, I guess my posts are somewhat limited.

allen0187 wrote on February 6, 2015, 6:33 PM

Yup, goal setting is important to me. It keeps me focused.

allen0187 wrote on February 6, 2015, 6:47 PM

Thanks nbaquero . Getting out of my comfort zone is indeed one of my objectives fro this this category challenge.

LOL!!!

I stay with what I know, myself. I have no idea what 'anime' is or why I would write about it or whether the news I want to share is actually "breaking".

allen0187 wrote on February 8, 2015, 4:16 AM

That's one way to look at it.

nbaquero wrote on February 9, 2015, 3:15 PM

No problem. You will do fine I know allen0187
