Introduction for Solamar

I have three grown children and three step-children, also grown. I am a grandmother of 12, a great-grandmother of 5. I have been married to a very nice Greek man for 21 years and we have lived in Greece for the past 19 years. I am originally from California, but now consider Atlanta, Georgia, my home in the US. I love to read. I also like to knit and solve puzzles. I am interested in history and love to travel. I like travelling to Germany and Belgium in particular. I started writing in order to provide my children and grand-children with a detailed account of my life. I grew up in a time that was very different from today. I wanted to pass on to them what life was like in my era.
