Profound Self-Contemplation

Last night, I had an abysmal meditation and it struct hard my senses. I pictured myself come face to face with the author of my life. That introspection made me deeply realized that sooner or later our life in this world is going to pass. All and no one is exempted. Even the best lives ultimately will come to an end.Our riches, accomplishments, accolades, fame and power will come into oblivion and will become of no use. When that time comes, the only thing that will matter then is whether or not we will get up there.

live each day as itself - don't worry too much about an afterlife or you end up missing much in life itself

Jessreel That day will come for sure and we need to keep that in mind, but I also think we need to make most of our present moment. Thanks sharing this with us.

The truth of that is...true! However, remembering how valuable your life is to close ones - and you - puts a different perspective on it.
