Better Late the Never!

Well today has been one of those days where time has just flown and nothing seems to have gotten done. All I have done this morning is try to catch up on posts on here and then post my first post of the day. Its got to lunch time and I am just writing the post now. Its usually done at least a couple of hours than this.

Anyway my plans for yesterday went by the by as when I went shopping it took much longer than we expected thanks to all of their wheel chairs being in use. When I got back I was exhausted and didn't feel like doing any paper cutting. After having a sit down and a brew I decided that I was going to start work on a crochet blanket I had been wanting to try for a while. You can see the progress that I made in the photo.

I have not got anything planned for this afternoon so I am going to use my time finishing the paper cut and then making a start on my next paper cut and then this evening carry on with the blanket while I sit and catch up on tv.

Hope your all having a good day.

I sometimes wonder why we ever bother planning a day because it rarely turns out the way that we expect.

It very rarely turns out as we wish. These things were sent to try us so their is no point dwelling on it. Just reassess and move on.

Is there nothing craft-wise that you can't do? I love the colour and the pattern of your work - will it be one colour throughout or do you work different colours in?

I plan on using a peach, some white, and a spring green colour that I have plus any more I buy at the weekend. I have a teal colour but I am not sure it will fit with the blanket. I love my crafts and to be honest they are what keep me sane as without them I am sure I would go mad just stuck in the house all of the time especially at night when I can't sleep.
