Why do I have to do everything for him!!!

Sorry this is a bit of a rant.

Why are men so god dam useless?? I am sick to death of being treated like his mother rather than his girlfriend! He expects me to do everything for him, even though he is perfectly capable.

He wanted to sell his netbook which I bought him a couple of years ago. So I had to sort it out, take pics, put on ebay, package it up and then I ask him to do one thing and take it to the shop on his way home and guess what....no he doesn't want to! He then says well you could take it now, er excuse me it is nearly 9pm and I am not going out now. You wanted to sell it, you wanted the money so I don't think it is too much to ask for you to just walk into the shop and hand it to someone for all of 5 mins of your time!!!

He really makes me mad, I feel like not sending it and then just sending the money back to the buyer.

Rant away, been there, done that, got the water bottle and resisted the urge to bean him with a cast iron skillet to see if he could catch a clue LOL There are times when I seriously wonder if they even have a single brain cell in their heads and why can't they figure out how to use them. Oh well, to paraphrase Norm from Cheers "Can't live with them, pass the beer nuits!"

Rant away as I don't blame you. I think I would be the same. What is the point of you making a special trip when he is passing the shop and the task would take all of 2 minutes. When I could do stuff and my hubby was like this I went on strike and did nothing (it was the result of an argument where he said that I do nothing but sit on my arse and drink coffee and he does everything) I soon proved my point when he came home and there was no meal waiting for him like normal, all of the dishes were dirty, Alex wasn't bathed (I fed him because I wouldn't let the child starve to prove a point) let alone in bed, he had no beer as I hadn't been to the shop and the house was a dumping ground with toys all over the floor, washing sat unwashed, the animals hadn't been cleaned. From then on he never complained about having to just help out a little and actually started doing extra little bits around the house. Now he does do everything as I struggle and he does it without batting an eyelid.

He doesn't seem like a good boy friend at all. Hopefully, by now you have found a better guy to date and be serious with. I hope you come back here to write more.
