Trying My Luck on Ebay

Hey, y'all. I hope everyone is having a good day so far. I decided recently to try my luck on Ebay. I used the site years and years ago, and didn't do too bad, but I was selling stuff I found and yard sales and the like. This time, I'm trying to sell mainly stuff I've made myself.

So far, I've put the chipboard album up that I showed y'all in the video. It is the first picture here. Then I put up three sets of Christmas gift tags. Here is one of the sets:

I know it's early for Christmas shopping, but oh well. I hope someone wants them.

I also put a few greeting cards on there. Here is one of the Valentine's Day cards I made.

A simple card but I think it's cute.

I added an ACEO or artist card, on there too. I've only recently started making them and thought someone might like this one.

I like how it turned out. All the textures are nice.

I do have a few digital photos on Ebay as well. One person has bid on one of them so far. Better than nothing.

Wish me luck, y'all!

Cool! Good luck! I'll take a look next time I'm over there, so long as I can find you. I've sold over 400 items on eBay UK since May 2013, mainly clutter and second hand clothes. I'm not even trying, most of the time, though. I could wish for more hours in my day to list items, write and so on.

Thank you. I will definitely keep y'all updated.

Wow you are so creative! Hope they sell well on eBay. Have you tried etsy? Most of the DIY'S sell well on etsy.

Thanks. So far, I have bids on one of the digital pics but that is all.

Yeah, I tried Etsy before. I sold a few things but not much. If this stuff doesn't sell on Ebay I might put it on Etsy.

I am just curious, is eBay membership is for free?

Maplewinter wrote on January 28, 2015, 5:44 AM

Keep us informed! I might end up trying to sell some of my stuff on ebay one day.

I have been buying and selling on eBay for over 10 years and their customer service is excellent. I have been protected from fraud, both as a buyer and a seller, many times. You mentioned you're selling your digital photos. Keep in mind, however, that digital content does not qualify for seller protection as stated in their TOS.

Yes, it is free to join eBay and you can list a certain number of things for free in some categories. You do have to pay the final value fee if it sells though, which is their percentage. They charge extra if you want to spruce the items up like with By it Now and stuff like that.

Well, one photo is a whole 9 cents and the other that has a bid is a penny so I think I'm ok so far...lol

Those are nice products! I wish you the best. I used to sell on ebay but haven't for a while now.
