I Did It!

So today is a day for saying I did it. To start with I made my mini goal of earning my first $0.50 as you can see in the picture. I am really please with this as it seems to have taken me a long time to get there even though the last 200 coins seem to have amounted quite quickly. Hopefully this will soon have doubled and I will reach my next milestone of $1.
I have also create my first ever blog and made the very first post to the page yesterday. I was over the moon when I checked it this morning as I have already received one comment, and two likes. I am so surprised as I didn't think anyone would be willing to read it. I can safely say that it has given me and my writing a bit of a confidence boost.
I have also finished cutting my first ever paper cutting design. I will write a post about that later on today so you can see what it looks like. I just have to mount it onto card first before I can show it. I am entering it into a facebook competition that is being run by one of the pages I use. I designed the template just for this competition. The theme of which was 'Hopes and Dreams'.
So today I am going to complete a Greek lesson before getting out my cutting and mounting my design and later making a start on another template which I designed. Once Dave is up we have to go and get some shopping to last till Friday or we won't be eating. I don't want to be going out after today as we have been forecast really heavy snow. Then hopefully this evening I will catch up on some television whilst I do my knitting or crochet.
Hope you all have a good day with whatever you are doing.

Congratulations Ria, I know what great victories reaching such targets can seem like. Persona Paper can seem a very uphill struggle at the start, but gradually it becomes much easier.

Morning Ria love. By heck you are a busy lass today. I hope you get that shopping done before the snow arrives, if Darwen is owt like Preston the side streets never see a sprinkle of salt or a snow plough.

Thank you! I am looking forward to getting my blog up and running fully. I am just so glad I jumped in and actually made a start as it felt really good.

Thank you! They have all been big steps for me. It may have taken time but I have enjoyed it which is the main thing.

Nooe they don't. The last time it snowed I had to drive myself to the docs and I had to take the side roads as the main roads were queueing badly. The side roads were like skate rinks and I would have done better getting my ice skates out. In the end it took me 25 mins to do the normal 5 minitue journey. I'm prepared this time though and I'm having my meds delivered so I don't need to go anywhere

It will all come together in the end you just need to nurture and help it grow.

I haven't really been following the bank to be honest and when I noticed I was near It became my target. I have been enjoying myself more than I have worried about the bank. Good luck on reaching your target soon! I am sure you will make it very quickly.

Thank you! I learn't about breaking down goal when I was losing weight and at the time doing the little by little approach worked so I have kept up using it.

Thank you! It hasn't been easy from a time point of view. Its involved a lot of reading and commenting as well as making new friends. I don't mind though as it has been fun which is the main thing.

Thank you! Hopefully you will reach your goal soon but more importantly enjoy the time reaching those goals.

Thank you. I am just enjoying my time and getting to know people on here as well as making lots of new friends. The money is actually a bonus

Yes, it is a very common sense approach that surprisingly is not being used too much, even though it has proven over and over again that is effective.
Sheilamarie78 wrote on January 28, 2015, 6:07 PM
I am just a day behind you. That first fifty cents sure takes a long time to amass. I hope it starts to pick up for both of us. (And for all the others, too. You know I meant that!)
1Maplewinter wrote on January 29, 2015, 4:26 AM
It is starting to get better and I am averaging about 10 cents a day but it is more the enjoyment I get out of it that matters most
