Busy Week

My husband has had eight days off and we have been all over the place. We helped clear my husbands mothers house out one day. That was a hard day sorting all her stuff into bags for the charity shop. A lot went to the homeless shelter and the rest including furniture off to the Heart foundation. The next day we went to Hastings and on the way went to look at new caravans , ours is not really suitable for two anymore. So we went again today and put a deposit on a fixed bed , we are so excited but a little sad as we are using my husbands inheritance to pay for it.

The caravan we have at the moment is a six birth and completely the wrong layout for the two of us. So we decided to treat ourselves , so every time we go out in it we will think of her kindness and generosity.

It was freezing cold in Hastings but we managed to walk about and had pie and chips in a sea front café. We drove home about 4pm as it was getting dark, that wind was so cold it bit our bones.

So sorry to hear about your loss. Im sure she will be watching down and be glad you have treated yourself with her money.

Sorry for your loss. I know somebody who bought a caravan with their inheritance as a "permanent and specific reminder" of the deceased.
Pie and chips rocks :)
