Kapow Ribs
One of my major passions, besides waking up every morning, is cooking! Unless I am preparing a dish for company or baking bread which I easily sell, I just go to the market, take a few things that look interesting and go for it. No recipe needed, just my personal thoughts of what may look and taste good.
As my friends from other sites know, sometimes it is good and sometimes it is food for the stray dogs and chickens!
So today, actually right now, I am cooking us some ribs. I took a small package of ribs, some Edoki mushrooms, Kapow (a Thai weed that invokes a bit of a spicy taste), a chopped up onion and some garlic, For spices, I added about a teaspoon each of Cayenne pepper, ground coriander and sage. Also I added about a quarter cup of soy sauce for additional flavor.
Since the pork here is pretty much fat free, I am frying it all in oil on a low flame. So far it smells pretty good, but I have not tasted it yet.
(One hour later) It is done now and it does taste pretty good. I was planning to present it on a bed or rice, but I have none so I just tossed it on a plate. The next time I make this I think I will stick it in my crook pot as then the meat will easily come off the bone. I hate sticky fingers!

Thanks candykane! Even bacon needs a little help when frying!

I love kapow ribs. If I wasn't so lazy, I would try to make this myself. I'll see what my wife says about this recipe. Thank you very much for sharing it, Richard!
