He Prepared Chicken Adobo

My housemate prepares chicken adobo (chicken recipe with soy sauce and vinegar). He learned from my cooking style though. Now we both marinade the chicken on soy sauce and vinegar before cooking it. We marinade it for about 30 minutes to ensure the chicken meats will absorb the soy and vinegar. Black pepper and other seasoning are added to taste. We add potatoes because I love it. He fried the potatoes first to taste and for texture purposes.

We are going to eat in a bit - it will surely be a delicious meal.

By the way, adobo is the favorite dish/recipe here in the Philippines. It was derived from an old recipe from a neighboring country. The soy sauce and vinegar will preserve the meat, this dish will last for days because of the vinegar on it.

i don't have vinegar, anything else to replace it? I want to try this adobo
