-4c You Say

I knew when I arrived at work after an hour of being on my that it was because I couldn't feel my fingers even though I had two pairs of gloves on and my gears had stopped working with two miles left to go, but I had no idea that it was minus four degrees centigrade. I mean no wonder I could not feel my fingers and the bike decided to lock the gears in one position, it was far to cold to be out lol. Mind I have ridden five days for the last three months and I am so stubborn that I wont let a little sub-zero weather stop me, you know what I might be slightly crackers lol. Thankfully the sun is now shining so hopefully my bike will defrost and it wont be such a cold ride home, boy I can't wait for the start of spring.

I am in the Philippines and haven't experienced. It would be cool to feel that way someday.

That's way too cold to be biking! Hopefully it warms up a lot for your ride home, if not you should get a ride!

BRRRRRRRRR! I used to be hard core about riding my bike in cold temps, invested in some pretty decent cold weather gear and biked rain, shine or snow. but when it got that cold I took the car :D

mrtoffee You are a brave cyclist. I would not even venture on a cold weather like that. But I do live in Florida, so I am glad for that. I did however spent a couple of winters in the Chicago area so I can relate.
