Yuen Long Tat Tak - Haunted School Hong Kong

Supposedly dubbed as one of Hong Kong's most haunted places, the Tat Tak school in Hong Kong is said to house many spirits.

Upon further research, I have merely come across one ghost in particular that keeps getting mentioned.. This is the ghost of a supposed teacher who hanged herself in the school girl's toilets, apparently wearing a red dress. Her spirit has, apparently, been seen beside a graveyard that had been built next to the school.

It was told that a group of students went to visit the school, and one of the female students was possessed by this "Red Lady", attacking and biting her classmates in a sudden rage! She was apparently mentally and emotionally disturbed during this "possession", and tried hanging herself!

The mass cemetery on the school grounds is said to have been made after local residents were massacred after the British had tried to evict them from their land in 1941..

I have come across other stories about a sighting of a male figure crouching in the corner, but upon closer inspection the figure just disappeared!

My main interest in this school came after I viewed a documentary on YouTube.. But after hours of research, I am left reeling in disappointment as I can find no "actual" stories or footage of these many spirits. Nevertheless, Tat Tak school remains a ghostly site where a lot of the stigma came from "camp fire" ghost stories.. Whether this be true or just hearsay, it most certainly makes for an interesting story!

Hong Kong residents are very superstitious. They will exaggerate the claim of ghosts.

I do that, see something then spend hours researching it, only to discover I can't pin down the actual information I want. For ghosts etc you'll never find absolute proof. Never.
I've seen a few in real life, so I know they exist - but I would like to know what ghosts turn out to be (say in 500 years' time somebody will have an absolute proof/explanation of what they are and what causes them)

I saw one when I was young, so it gave me a keen interest in finding out more.

It sounds like an interesting place to visit. I like stories about haunted buildings, and I have visited a few haunted buildings in Denmark and in Italy
