My First Chipboard Journal (Video)

I asked elitecodex if it was okay to post videos from youtube if you had the video monetized and he said it was fine so I'm going ahead and posting the video I made of my first chipboard journal for y'all to check out. Some of you might remember that I posted pictures of a few of the pages not too long ago. I thought y'all might like seeing how the whole book came together.

Please ignore my little hick sounding self as I narrate the video. I hate to hear myself talk because I sound like I'm about five years old. Oh well, it is what it is. All in all, I think the video turned out okay for my very first craft video, and I love how the book ended up looking.

Please let me know what you think if you want my First Chipboard Journal video.

Fantastic you did a wonderful job. I am not very creative but would love to have a go.

Brilliant - you have done an excellent job with that journal and WOW - what an accent! Like Alexis Wiseman said 'just like Dolly Parton'; or maybe Blanche from 'Gone With The Wind'! emoticon

Looks awesome. Wish I had that kind of ability.

You did a great job, I don't think I could be that creative. Oh and your accent was fine!

AngelSharum Well done, I am not into scrapbook or similar crafts, I don't think I would have the creativity and patience to do something like that, but you did a great job with the video and the Chipboard Journal.

I was just giggling over your earnest use of "y'all"--which, frankly, is a completely valid and useful way to distinguish the plural "you " from the singular--when I then read your comment about sounding like a hick. Don't worry about it--everybody has some kind of accent. Just be yourself :)

Go for it. The journal wasn't as hard to make as I thought it was going to be.

LOL, I do have a strong accent. I don't notice it until I listen to myself on videos or something like that. Of course, most of the people I'm around sound like me so I wouldn't notice it.

Believe me, if I can do it, anybody can do it. Just takes getting the papers and stuff.

AngelSharum wrote on January 20, 2015, 4:21 PM

Thanks. I wasn't into crafts much either until this past year.

AngelSharum wrote on January 20, 2015, 4:22 PM

I say y'all way too much...lol. I don't really worry about how I sound much. Don't even think about it, but when I heard myself on the video I had a good laugh.

Yeah I have a hard time getting to the store to buy paint so it may be a while before I get up to it LOL

AngelSharum wrote on January 20, 2015, 7:00 PM

I bought some stuff last night that I'm going to use on a new project with paint.

Kasman - What accent? She sounds completely normal to me. (Says the hick who lives down the road from her.)

OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on January 20, 2015, 8:28 PM

That is so pretty! And I love the blend of colors.

Thank you so much. I am very happy with the way it turned out.

It is beautiful! I love it especially the butterfly since I have always been fond of them.

Thank you very much. I'm glad you like it.

So you have made a lot of progress in a short amount of time!
