Back to the Gym

This week I am surposed to be starting going to the gym. I had to give up Bootcamp just before Christmas due to being ill and was due to start again at the beginning of he month, however I am 4 months pregnant and had a bit of a scare just before New Year, so I have been advised to do gentle exercise like cycling and walking, so it's back to the gym. I was going to go tonigjt but I'm thinking of going in the mornings now, I got use to exercising in the mornings with Bootcamp and I really don't want to go in the evenings. Think I will give it a go and see how it goes and decide what time to go from there. I haven't exercised for 2 months now so have really for out of the habit, I'm not really looking forward to it but I can't do nothing. With my Son I exercised up until the week before he was born at the gym and was hoping to do the same this time but I will have to see.

A bit of sport has many benefits for health but unfortunately, I have no time for gym. Maybe in summer season I will go to gym.

I think you have to exercise in the morning not in the evening and a great sleep early in the evening is good for the baby. God bless you and I hope you are having a great time. Just be careful while exercising you know when you are pregnant you have to be very extra careful and extra funny and joyful so our baby will always smile and look so pretty when it finally gets out of your tummy. Heheheh. God bless.

Congrats on your pregnancy I didn't know! I always wondered about the future if I could still go to the gym when we decide to have kids but I guess so! We just started at the gym last week too

They encourage it, I exercised 3 times a week up until the week before my Son was born, I was planning on sticking with Bootcamp for a bit longer but had a bit of a problem over Christmas so was advised to tone things down as I did that 3 times a week and jazzacise once a week. But yes you can def carry on with it.

I would choose mornings over evenings too, I am usually so tired by then it'd be the last thing I'd feel like doing

You need to be very careful if you are pregnant

I did so much around here today, right now I feel like I just did Bootcamp! I also missed my yoga this morning because I dove right in cleaning, moving furniture, etc, but I figure I got enough exercise for today!

I will never stop being amazed at how women can push their bodies to limits I would gladly shy away from. I am a dad of three now adult kids and a grandfather of two. I have seen what my wife went thru and what was considered the "right things" to do back then...( our kids were born 1976, 1978 and 1986.) I watched with baited breath as my daughter did everything a modern day woman has been told is the "right thing" to do. She ended up having to have two C-sections. I think the important thing is to pay close attention to your body and it'll let you know what is right. As for me, I'm now 61 years old and wish that instead of calling it, "the gym" that we would call it, "the john", because then I could honestly say that I go to "the john" everyday. lol :)
