Introduction for christianmama

Hello everyone, my name is Christine. I am mother to 3 awesome kids. My two youngest children are homeschooling. This is our first year, and we love it! Our family has been raising chickens for a few years. We love the fresh eggs. You wouldn't believe the difference between backyard eggs and store bought eggs! We have Buff Orpingtons, Black Australorps, a Rhode Island Red, a Barred Rock, Black Stars and ISA Browns. We have started a tiny herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats this fall. My goal is to breed my goats and make and sell goat's milk soap, lotion and other body care items. I also plan to make cheese, yogurt and ice cream for home and family. So far we have three females, one male and one neutered male (wether) to keep him company. They are sweet, friendly little critters and I'm so happy that we decided to venture into raising goats! In addition to the goats and chickens we also have 2 cats and 4 dogs. Our children share in all of the animal care responsibilities and it's been a great learning experience for everyone.

Hello! Welcome to persona paper! I've tried eggs from people who had their own chickens and they definitely are different and better!
