What's In A Name?
Our names are very important to us. They are part of our identity, and also allow us to be distinguished from people who are not us.
In myth, superstition and mysticism much power is often attributed to knowing the name, or 'true name' of an object or a person.
In a way this can also be said to be true in the real world and on the internet.
Case in point, just now I gave myself a bit of a scare when I just tried to visit this site and got taken to a web hosting site offering to sell me the domain!
What the heck was going on here? No way the site could just vanish like that?
Well of course Persona Paper had not vanished, I can only assumed that ' www.personapages.com', which is what I typed in, never existed in the first place.
feeling a bit dumb, but all's well that end's well!

Disappeared and vanished like a fart in the wind!
Ha! That reminds me of The Shawshank Redemption.

sad that we have come to the point where people's names are bought and sold like car license plate numbers

There are so many people with my exatc name that I wouldn't be surprised if the domain name is gone.

LOL! So true and so funny. I was not expecting the ending, so this post was quite worth while.

I do things like this all the time! I amaze myself with how dim I can be at times!
