You can't beat a bit of family time!

Alex has been doing really well with his 'trying new foods' star chart, so this afternoon, for a treat, me and the fiance decided to take him to the local restaurant that has a play area attached to it. When we arrived we told Alex he needed to decide what he wanted to eat, then he could go and play until it came to the table.

He chose a starter of garlic bread, with a main course of fish fingers, fries and alphabet spaghetti. He was extremely well behaved the whole time and came to us when his food arrived. I couldn't believe how much he ate! The playing must have made him very hungry!

We also ordered desserts, Alex had ice cream and we ordered a cookie dough pizza, we decided to bring it home for later! Yummy!

How is everyone today?

Glad to hear that he is eating better. It can be hard to get them to do.

A restaurant can be a tough place to sit still so nice he was able to set in and try some food and be well behaved!

It's worked wonders for us, he gets a red if he doesn't try something new, a blue if he attempts it, a silver if he eats a reasonable amount and gold if he eats the majority or all of it.
