I Spy With My Little Eye

I had a letter through the other day with an appointment to take my 2 year old Son to get his eyes tested. This will be his first eye test so I cannot see him being overly impreased about it. Obviously when an adult has their eyes tested we are asked to read letters from a board, but how do they do it for a 2 year old?

I also think that when we get there he's not going to want to co-operate and is just as likely to refuse to do what they ask. I have actually got to change the date as it falls on the day when I have to attend the diabetic clinic but know one had phoned me back yet, but I just wondered if anyone knew how they did the eye test?

I am sure that 2years of age is far too young for an eye test, my son had his last year shortly after his 4th Birthday, I would call them and check they've got it right

My grandkids use an eye chart with animals on it. They are also too young for the letters.
