Burning the Midnight Oil

For various reasons, I stay up and work all night while my husband sleeps. I then sleep during the early and mid morning while he is getting ready for and at work, and I wake up in time for his lunch so we can chat while he works. When his lunch is over, I start my work day.

It's not a perfect setup, but it works and it is ours. So now it is 2:30 in the morning and I am going strong. I have two transcripts to finish before 9 AM EST, and one of them is insufferably annoying interviews while the other is an hour long.

On my breaks from this drudgery I will be here, writing and interacting as best I can. I am still new and learning my way around. After reading the TOS I'm afraid to event comment on my own posts! But I'm learning, slowly. I think I will enjoy it here, provided there is anyone on to burn the midnight oil with me!

I find I also get more work done if I work when it's quiet after dark. I tend to go to sleep sometime in the wee hours, then wake up for a bit to spend time with hubby. He works evenings and nights, so this way we usually spend at least an hour or two together before he has to leave. Often more emoticon
