An Imposter In My House

There's an imposter in my dining room ! .

That big fat grumpy looking tom cat , is not mine .

Imagine my surprise when I first found this big tabby cat under my bed last year ! , he just invited himself in and then a bit spooked by me I had to stop him from jumping out of my upstairs bedroom window ! .

Well he acts like lord of the manor now , and after an operation at the vets he recuperaterd at mine .

Feeling pity for him as he limped about I started to feed him .

As soon as he was feeling better , the shaved patches of skin on his underside growing back , he turned into a bit of a hissy bitey cat and the spraying he started to do , didn't go down well atall .

I don't see him everyday , but there he is now sat in my diningroom waiting to be fed with my own three cats .

I've never known his name or who he belongs to , I would have fed him again tonight , but he growled as he hogged the food bowl , so I'm not having that , and as my cats are all sat looking gormlessly at me I'll have to wait till he gives up and goes back out the cat flap .

I'd try and shift him but like I say he's a bit of a mean cat and I'm nervous about trying to pick him up .

I don't know , talk about ungreatful , I looked after that moggy , but he doesn't seem to appreciate it ! .

How nice of you to take him in, but he sounds quite mean. My cats are really territorial so wouldn't stand for any other cat in their home lol

He looks like such a pretty cat. It's really unfortunate he's not nicer, to you or to your other cats.

Aaaaw! I feel sorry for him. He must be having a hard time at his usual home and comes to you when he needs a few comforts.

WorDazza it's blowing a gale and the rains hammering down , the cats still here . I haven't the heart to make him go , so I've just fed him , I bet he'll still be here in the morning .

Louemham , Milton greeted him by nose sniffing , it's funny but my cats are quite welcoming of other neighbourhood cats , there's a black and white Tom that comes calling for them , it's a bizarre but sweet thing to watch .

Gaylestorm , He's usually ok with my cats , just not when it comes to sharing the food bowl like my three cats ( mother , son and daughter ) do .

never keep a stray cat. I did. A stray cat was half dead, I fed him until he can walk, now he is stuck to our home

Don´t put up with that behavior, the next time he´s ruling the roost, give him a tap on the backside with a rolled up newspaper.
